The Western Springs Championship Series

The Springs National series includes the Midget, Sprintcar and TQ midget classes. Drivers from anywhere in New Zealand are eligible to qualify for the series. All 3 classes will compete in their own series events, with drivers competing in the feature races for individual series points. The series will be run over 8 nights during the coming summer season with the final championship feature race taking place on the Final night (March 3rd 2007) at Western Springs Speedway.

Heat races will determine qualification and driver’s grid position for the feature race. Each driver will count every feature race result from the points tally and must count all 8 results in their final series score.

Each series feature has its own prize money payout. The overall series Champions in each class will take away the championship trophy and their share of the $100,000 plus final point’s prize payout.
