National Midget Champion Shane Alach won both Midget features, including the Auckland Championship on Saturday night at Western Springs Speedway, while American Sprintcar stars Ricky Logan and Jonathan Allard each won the two Sprintcar features.  Allard spectacularily won his from the back of the grid after taking up the challenge to start rear of field for an extra $1000 bonus if he or Logan could win starting last, while Logan won a crash marred first Sprintcar feature for the Auckland Championship crown.

Former national TQ Champ Shane O'Connor won the Auckland Championship TQ feature from the rain delayed previous week, while Paul Le Cren, another former NZ TQ Champ, won his first TQ feature win of the season in the second.

A huge crowd enjoyed the action of twin features for all classes on a fast and flat Western Springs Speedway track. More to follow later on in the week about this very busy night of racing.
