Michael Pickens leads the 2007 International Midget World Series by a 9 point margin after his win in tonight’s 50 lap World Championship the second round of the series.
The 2006 series winner, US driver Scott Hatton, sits in second place ahead of his USA team mate Dave Darland. A surprise 4th is NZ number three Michael Brunt who may have had the drive of his life in tonight’s feature.
The series continues on Thursday 25th and Saturday 27th January at Powerbuilt Speedway in Christchurch.
Drivers series points are awarded from the feature race of each race meeting.
