Western Springs speedway has a long history of midget test team racing and some of the worlds best drivers have raced for their country at the historic Auckland track.
This year 6 drivers from the United States of America make up team USA :
Scott Hatton (team captain), Cory Kruseman, Dave Darland, Danny Stratton, Brad Kuhn and Brad Loyet.
New Zealand will be represented by 6 of the country’s finest drivers:
Michael Pickens, Brad Mosen, Bryce Townsend (team captain), Graham Standring, Lance Beale and Shayne Alach.
There are 8 Test races scheduled over the 6 race meeting series with the first three tests taking place at Western Springs this week.
Each race has all 12 national team drivers and is run over 12 laps with each individual drivers points contributing to the teams total
